I have always enjoyed building electronic device and shooting fireworks. Many years ago I attempted to build a computer controlled firing system and failed with flying colors but had a ton of fun doing it. As I grew older and began to learn more about micro controllers I started working on the project again. With the help of people in the pyrotechnic community the development of a firing protocol was developed that was made avalible for everyone.

I am also a serious tinker and enjoy taking thing apart. I currently own 2 differnt types of firing system. I have a set of Pyromate 48 cue digital slates that I reversed the control protocol on and made a plugin for Pyro ignition control software. I also own the cheap chinese 12 cue system by bulsoco which is my next target for reverse enginnering.
